Providing members with an interesting mix of technical and strategic hydrogen insight - attendees will hear from the following presenters: 

Alliander’s (Dutch Energy Network) Hydrogen Innovation & Biomethane Consultant, will be joining us at this session sharing insight and key learnings from their project where hydrogen has been flowing through existing natural gas infrastructure since December 2022,  supplying heat and hot water to 12 occupied homes in Lochem.  A global first: Alliander heats homes using hydrogen through the existing gas grid - Alliander.

SGN will be providing updates and developments on their hydrogen project portfolio, the Hydrogen Innovation Initiative (HII) will be sharing outputs of HII's recently published 'UK Hydrogen Innovation Opportunity' and will explain how HII is convening UK industry to build a strategic case for hydrogen innovation and supply chain development and finally HyDEX will outline their working with SMEs, established Midlands-based and UK commercial partners and multinationals to accelerate innovation, build markets and support the required skills transition.

UN member mXreality will be presenting in the member showcase slot – Immersive Learning for Hydrogen Skills: Accelerating Workforce Development. Leveraging mXreality's expertise in immersive learning, they will demonstrate how virtual environments, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality can enhance hydrogen skills development and address industry skill shortages, featuring a showcase of innovative learning environments.

This will be a morning online session 9.30-11.30.
