Welcome to our newest member - Connected Response
Connected Response's mission is to use their retrofit technology to release the 1.5m households with electric storage and water heating from the shackles of Economy 7 night-time charging and associated fuel poverty thus enabling them to enjoy a positive heating experience.
Its senior management team is made up of Kenny Cameron, Martin Ade-Hall and Alan Jones.
In December 2021, Connected Response became part of Warmworks, the Managing Agent of the Scottish Government’s national fuel poverty scheme. Connected Response has pioneered HeatSage technology. HeatSage improves the heating experience of those living in homes with electric storage heating (ESH) and hot water. The base technology was first developed by Energy Assets and subsequently transferred, by way of a technology transfer, to Connected Response. The project brings together HeatSage technology, smart metering and energy suppliers.
Alan Jones, Business Development Manager at Connected Response commented 'I have worked in senior management, technology, and business development roles, for organisations where we became members of UN. Membership enabled me and those organisations to gain knowledge and build enduring relationships with key contacts throughout the industry.
Having personally been a member of the EUA Management Board and chaired the Meter Technical Group for several years, I am aware first hand of the influence and respect the EUA commands. The influence and cooperation extends to BEIS, DCC and other Government and regulatory bodies affecting the energy policy we all trade in.’
UN Director Debbie Mitchell said 'It's a real pleasure to welcome Connected Response into membership and the whole team is looking forward to working with Alan once again as well as having the opportunity to forge strong relationships with others at the company.'
